- Notes1: These tutorials will describe how to utilize PCI bus and Super I/O resources including ATA hard drive interface, USB interface, Modem and Audio on ML-410.
- Notes2: If the reader just get started with FPGA/Linux mixed design, it is recommend to refer to Andy's tutorial Linux 2.6 on ML-410 first to learn how to create a base system.
Before you get started, here is a check list for necessary components of using PCI & Super I/O on ML-410 board .
- Xilinx EDK 8.2i
- Mainline Linux 2.6.10
- Cross-compiler gcc-3.4.5-glibc-2.3.6
- OPB2PCI core
- Onboard Ali 15x3 South Bridge
- Onboard Ti 2250 PCI2PCI Bridge
- ATA hard drive (or USB Flash)
